Wash Your Fat Rings

Your Fat Rings arrive with a thin film left over from the casting process. It is harmless, but it is also the reason a brand-new ring can feel slick in your hands. Two minutes at the sink takes it off for good.

Thirty seconds, start to finish.

The Three Steps

1
Wash. Scrub them with warm water and dish soap.
2
Rinse. Clean water, until no soap film is left behind. Leftover soap is just a different kind of slick.
3
Dry. Towel them down, and they're ready to go!

After That

High-density urethane is the same material used for oil field equipment. It does not rot, splinter, or soak up sweat, so there is no oiling, sanding, or sealing to keep up with.
